Clinical Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a state of inner absorption, concentration and focused attention. In this state when the critical censor of the conscious mind may be more at rest, it is possible to encourage the use of imagination, to explore the unconscious, to better understand underlying motivations and identify whether past events or experiences are associated with creating a problem. Ideas and suggestions that are compatible with what a person might want to achieve can be utilized in an effective manner. Contrary to some myths about hypnosis, a person under hypnosis is not out of control, surrendering their will and doing things they do not want to do.

Hypnosis can be used for:

  • Weight management
  • Pain management
  • Smoking cessation
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
